Our broad (but non-legal) recommendations are:

• Remove any patient identifiers (first and last name, DOB, phone number and patient ID)
• Remove doctor name if you think you are sharing something that could put a particular staff member at risk or feel uneasy
• Remove the facility and hospital/health service identifiable information if you think you are sharing something that could put the organisation at risk
• Put “not for distribution” in the footer if you are worried that the information could be shared further
• If in doubt seek advice from your local governance team first before sharing.
