The Emergency Department Situation Report provides an overview of the Emergency Department and provides a predicted value for forecasted unscheduled care. Utilising the current situation data and the forecasted activity supports Flow Managers within the department to proactively respond to surges in emergency presentations. This information can be used to inform and activate escalations to maintain clinical safety.
