Flow LoS is calculated by: Treatment Spaces X Processing Hours / demand.

This calculation will provide the required LoS in order to maintain the flow in each area. However, if there is a demand surge in the day and therefore lowers the Flow LoS for that time period, this can potentially stress the area and/or be inappropriate (e.g. need to discharge patient within 6 hours etc.).
