The calculation uses the historical average monthly removal rates for each doctor at each category.

  • For category 1 patients, the nominal maximum waiting list is the same as the average monthly removal rate as all patients need to be treated within 30 days.
  • For category 2 patients - as all patients need to be treated within 90 days - the nominal maximum waiting list is the average monthly removal rate multiplied by three.
  • For category 3 patients - as all patients need to be treated within 12 months (365 days) - the nominal maximum waiting list is the average monthly removal rate multiplied by twelve.
