Demand and Activity allows you to see the number of patients you need to treat week on week over the next 13 weeks, the average activity and the difference between the demand and activity. If the number if negative you need additional appointments to prevent long waits occurring. If the number is positive you have surplus appointments - case mix distribution and booking processes need to be monitored to ensure no long waits occur.
