The Patients Waiting summary table provides a summary of the total number of patients waiting for the next Emergency Department event. This includes patients waiting to be seen, patients in waiting rooms, patients waiting for subspecialty review and patients waiting for inpatient admissions. The summary table also highlights patients that have been waiting greater than 1-hour for subspecialty reviews and inpatient admissions.
