The Patient List component will provide you with a patient level table of everyone who is waiting for surgery, both booked and unbooked patients. Using the purple icon on the corner of the table, export the data into Microsoft Excel. Use the operation date field to filter and find the patients that have an operation that day or the following day. Patients who have a wait status of Booked in Time should be first considered for cancellation. These patients have at least 15 days until they will breach their clinical recommended time frames. Before cancelling, each patient should have a clinical review conducted to ensure no patient is at high risk.
