  • 'Surgeon Time' is the time it takes for a surgeon to perform the surgery.
  • 'Theatre Time' is the time the patient is being prepared for surgery (positioning and prepping) within the operating room and any time in the theatre after the surgery (waking the patient).
  • 'Other Operating Time' is calculated from procedure start UNTIL knife to skin (any time associated with a procedure prior to the first incision, getting the surgical site ready).
  • 'Other Time' is the time within the session that is outside of wheels in / wheels out. E.G., Late start, early finish, changeover time.
