What does POST mean? - Academy
Patient Off Stretcher Time (POST) is a key performance indicator that monitors the % of patients who are offloaded from the ambulance within 30 minutes (cat 1 and 2 ambulances only). It is calculated from the time an ambulance arrives at the Emergency Department to when the patient is transferred off the stretcher and into an Emergency Department treatment space.
